What is it?
Action Learning Programs are facilitated initiatives which focus on a combination of short courses (affording topical guidance) and hands-on exercises which are carried out on-the-job.
How it works:
Our learning team meets with major stakeholders to discuss the areas requiring guided experiential growth. A learning road map serves as a guide for the sequencing of structured learning, followed by actual on-the-job assignments. The facilitator follows the progress, attends periodic reviews, and provides coaching (telephone or on-site) as the project moves toward completion. These assignments can be completed within a few days, or take several months. Assigned learning exercises might include:

| Preparing a Business Case for new product investments |
| Preparing for a product launch |
| Devising a product strategy |
| Creating a product line evolution plan |
| Analyzing and rationalizing a product portfolio |
| Creating a Marketing Plan for a product |
Each of these activities is punctuated by a series of follow-up, facilitated learning meetings where teams who may have been assigned to the learning project may present their assignments or even participate in team meetings. Sequent’s facilitators will coach and guide the follow up learning sessions.
